But. Bonnaroo 2009 was incredible ! I met awesome people, heard amazing music, and was surrounded by all different culture and style. It was quite an experience. I will speak boldly by saying that it was much better that 2008 (even though Ben Gibbard's presence was missing this year.)
Music I saw: Chairlift, Passion Pit (!), Gomez, Animal Collective, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Ani DiFranco, Beastie Boys, Pheonix (!), Crystal Castles (!), Chairlift (again!), Bon Iver, Of Montreal, Jenny Lewis, The Decemberists (!!!), Bruce Springsteen, Nine Inch Nails (!!!), MGMT, MyNameIsJonMicheal, Ben Sollee, Cage the Elephant, Ted Leo, Dillenger Escape Plan, High on Fire, Shadows Fall, Coheed & Cambria (!!!),
Really, the only bands I had to miss that I wish I hadn't were Band of Horses, Wilco, Mars Volta, and Andrew Bird. But, I packed in as much as was humanly possible, haha. Friday night, in That Tent, was incredible with all the electro-splendor. Seeing the Decemberists (3rd row!) was insane. I have such an undying love for them, and the girls are quite amazing, decked out in '20's dresses and with vocals to rival any jazz singer from the era. I was 1st row for NiN, and it was his last show in the united states. Trent Reznor is a beast, and a sexy, genius one at that. And, of course, I saw Coheed, seeing as that Claudio Sanchez is the love of my life ! Too bad he's marrying another girl. But, she's from my area! So, if things work out poorly between them, maybe I'll get in there some how (joking!...kind of.)
But, I do have to say, that I'm pretty pleased with how the 4 days went. You learn more every year. SO, hopefully, next year will go even smoother! One thing to remember: Don't feel weird starting conversations, and get peoples email addresses! OH! And, Bring extra battery packs for your camera! I completely forgot, so the last two days I had to majorly conserve power.

So, that'll have to wait until tomorrow.
